· Some of the troops killed seven more Moro rebels in gun battles in the coastal outskirts of the city where clearing operations continue following a three-week standoff with insurgents who held scores of people hostage.
· Army troops and special police forces killed six Moro National Liberation Font (MNLF) rebels who were hiding in a house in Barangay Santa Barbara and refused to surrender.

· Zamboanga officials were working on a plan to rebuild hard-hit communities, where nearly 10,000 houses were burned by the rebels or got destroyed in the fighting. Officials will have to continue feeding and tending to tens of thousands of displaced residents who remained in 32 emergency shelters and have to be relocated to temporary settlements at some point.

Types of Crime
*Crime Against Person
-- a crime which is committed by direct physical harm or force being applied to another person.
*Murder
-- the unlawful killing, with malice aforethought, of another human, and generally this premeditated state of mind distinguishes murder from other forms of unlawful homicide(such as manslaughter). A person who commits murder is called a murderer.
*Aggravated Assault
-- to cause serious bodily injury to another or causes such injury purposely, knowingly, or recklessly under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life; or attempts to cause or purposely or knowingly causes bodily injury to another with a deadly weapon. There are violent and non-violent crimes. Violent crimes usually include murder, attempted murder and sexual assault, intention of harm or injury among others. Non-violent crimes include frauds, cheating, drug abuse, speeding among many others. It is a primary concern here in our country and our government is having hard time suppressing the number of crime here in the Philippines. Especially on what happened to Zamboanga City. Zamboanga is in crisis last September because of the unfinished conflict between the forces of the Republic of the Philippines and a faction of the Moro National Liberation Front. Who led by Nur Misuari, the MNLF chairman.
Many crimes happened on war in Zamboanga. Like violent and non-violent crimes. Many innocent people got affected with the issue. Rebels kill them without any reason. Some houses and Markets burned by the rebels, that’s why people forced to evacuate for their own protection.
